Paolo Boosten, Liège 1989 – lives and works in France.

Graduated (Master’s degree) in 2012 of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Bourges in France (School of Fine Arts), he has since carried out numerous major solo exhibition projects and artist residencies, both in France and abroad. His work—created primarily using ink on paper—manifests in forms and formats that can reach monumental dimensions.
Deeply rooted in the contemporary world, his work is shaped as much by his own origins and European painting traditions as by diverse influences, particularly the pictorial art and philosophy of Northeast Asia. His work is also molded by the existential questions facing humanity today, thereby inviting the intrepid viewer to engage in introspection regarding their own future path.
